King County, WA works with LGAN in jail population forecasting effort.
The King County Jail faces substantially decreasing numbers of inmates over the next few years as cities contract for jail beds with less expensive operations in eastern Washington. New population forecasts are needed for fiscal planning and population management because of this turnaround. LGAN and independent consultant, John O’Connell, Jr. will process and analyze jail data, then create and present forecasts for various jail subpopulations.
