Oregon Department of Human Services contracts with Looking Glass Analytics for forecasting application
LGAN will develop the Caseload Forecast Manager (CFM), a caseload forecasting application, for the Oregon Department of Human Services. The CFM migrates complex forecasting algorithms from a spreadsheet environment to the SAS data processing, analysis, and reporting environment. The move to SAS reduced time required for forecast organization and production from days to less than an hour and improved the reliability of the process. CFM provides expanded analytic capability by allowing forecast analysts to analyze impacts of policy changes on the fly, subset forecasts by program groups and client demographics, and see the results graphically and numerically. SAS forecasting tools are integrated into this custom application.
