King County, WA works with LGAN in new jail population forecasting effort.
As regional growth and limited options for incarceration complicates housing of jail inmates throughout King County, new jail population forecasts are needed for fiscal planning and population management. Populations of concern include both those that the County has legal responsibility for and those that contract for County detention services. LGAN is providing data processing and analytic support for this effort.
