Users of the web site can generate rankings, trend charts, and data tables of local, county, and state-level statistics for 28 different crime categories. Counts of reported crime and per capita rates are available for each crime type, police jurisdiction, and year (1994-2005). A special report presents statistics specifically related to gun crime. Access to the site is free and users can opt to be notified when new reports or updated data are added.
